AIGLES: MINISTER JOSEPH LE SELLS DIGITAL PUBLIC SERVICE AT IRIC COLLOQUIUM
This Tuesday, October 13, 2026, bright minds from across Cameroon and beyond put digital performance to trial and Public Service boss, Minister Joseph LE came with a strong exhibit: AIGLES. Speaking at the high-level colloquium organized by the Centre d’études et de recherches constitutionnelles, administratives et financières, CERCAF, and the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Yaounde II, Minister LE presented on “Public Service, Digitalisation and Performance: the case of AIGLES”. The event was held under the theme “Public Law in the Era of Innovations: Artificial Intelligence and Performance”. Before an audience chaired by the Minister of State, Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Jacques FAME NDONGO, Minister Joseph LE argued that Cameroon’s public service cannot achieve performance without going digital. He showcased AIGLES – Personnel and Payroll Management Software - as the revolution that has sanitized the state payroll, dematerialized career management, and brought transparency, speed and traceability to HR procedures within Cameroon’s public administration. From online enrollment to career tracking and retirement, AIGLES is proof that Artificial Intelligence and digitalization are not futuristic slogans but tools already boosting efficiency and fighting inertia in the administration. For Joseph LE, the message was clear: the future of public service is paperless, and AIGLES is its wings. The Honor Panel also featured Minister Minette LIBOM LI LIKENG, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Dr. Beni SITACK YOMBATINA, Minister of Higher Education to Chad, and M. Olivier MEKULU MVONDO, Director General of the National Social Insurance Fund.
